In the bulb there is a flower, in
the seed, and apple tree; in cocoons,
a hidden promise; butterflies will
soon be free!  In the cold and snow
of winter there's a spring that
waits to be, unrevealed until its
season, something God alone can see.

There's a song in every silence,
seeking word and melody; there's a
dawn in every darkness, bringing
hope to you and me.  From the past
will come the future; what it holds a
mystery, unrevealed until its
season, something God alone can see.

In our end is our beginning; in our
time, infinity; in our doubt there is
believing; in our life eternity.  In
our death a resurrection; at the
last, a victory, unrevealed until its
season, something God alone can see.

Forgiveness
Whenever you can, as soon as you
can, forgive the other person.

Whenever you can, as soon as you
can, forgive yourself.

--Colgrove, Bloomfield, McWilliams
Love solves all???
We want to believe that love solves
all interpersonal problems, dilutes all
differences, dissolves fears and
anger, resolves all conflicts and,
surrounding us with strength and
warmth, will bring us eternal bliss.
This has proved no more satisfactory
a solution... Even when love is
perfect it still is not a total solution to
relationship.
-- Leo Buscaglia
You can know something in
your head, but not in your
heart...

I heal, in part, by allowing others to
express their love for me.  By
choosing to invite others into my
journey, I move toward health and
healing.  If I hide from others, I hide
from healing...

In some ways, love and grief are much
alike.  They both have the power to
forever change our lives.  Just as I
must surrender to love, I must
surrender to my grief.

-- Allan D Wolfelt

Life is a gift to us from God for a
limited time, the past is gone, the future
is in God's hands, and the present is
given to us one day at a time.
Time heals they say to those who
bear the weight of grief.  Oh, I've
been there, and this I know it isn't
so.  It's love that heals.  Time
doesn't care.
